Our mission is to help you transform your current home into the home of your dreams with a few finishing touches from Uncle Jake's Furniture!

From custom bookcases and home office furnishings to entertainment centers, we specialize in supplying the furniture you need in the way you want it — you choose from hundreds of standard in-stock items, material and stains, and we'll change your vision into reality.

Owned and operated by local Greenville residents with over 25 years of experience in the wood furniture business, you can rest assured you'll receive the best quality wood furniture at a reasonable price when you choose Uncle Jake's Furniture. Our 20,000-square-foot facility is centrally located on Greenville's East Side with easy access and parking. Open seven days a week, we always take the time to help you find the right item for you using our extensive in-stock inventory or special order catalogues.

Most furniture stores all look the same — their furniture is some shade of brown or black, ready-made and imported from China — and you rarely get solid wood. At Uncle Jake's Furniture, you choose the style, the wood and the finish.

Our team of non-commissioned professionals can assist you with custom finishing advice and supplies. We also offer expert custom finishing services in any stain or paint color. Specialty finishes such as distressing, glazing, rub thru and two tone finishes are also available.

The owners of Uncle Jake's Furniture are constantly searching for new and unique collections of wood furniture. We reach out to cottage industry suppliers for guaranteed-backed wood furniture not offered to mass merchants. Several of our suppliers are from the Amish country in Ohio and Pennsylvania. We will soon be offering antique pine tables and islands made from local reclaimed pine hand-planed and distressed to your specifications.

After moving here the end of July my husband Marc and I were searching for a kitchen island that wasn't cheaply made (Big Lots) or terribly expensive (Haverty's.) One of our neighbors suggested we give Uncle Jake's a try and we not only found the perfect kitchen island/bar but several other pieces that fit perfectly. In fact presently I'm considering a desk/chair combo from Uncle Jake's.

We have purchased both wood products and an upholstered sofa, chair and ottoman and have completely satisfied with all our purchases. Our bed was a custom order which came in not only on time but in the exact color and style we requested.

My daughter and her fiance saw the selection and quality of the items we were finding at Uncle Jake's, stopped by and ending up buying a dining room table and 4 chairs they love!

Eric and Laura have been so helpful each and every time we are in whether it's to actually purchase a piece of furniture, window shop, or simply to visit Toby and Teddy.

Thanks for being such a great honest and decent company. In today's climate, that sometimes is hard to find!

On a side note, as a freelance magazine writer who has been on hiatus for several years while sailing, it was exciting to come into Uncle Jake's for the first time and see a magazine, South Carolina Home and Gardens, prominently displayed and featuring an article that I had written.

If you recall, I visited your booth at the Palmetto Expo and gave you a crude drawing of what I needed to fill a unique wall in my home library that I was working on. You guys patiently assisted me over a 4 to 6 week period until we finally got the "right look." You and Eric gave me great advice on finishing the bookcase and desk, and I followed your advice to the "T." It turned out great and I love the way it put the finishing touch on my room.

I shopped around for the "right look" all over the Upstate and online. You guys were the only place that satisfied my idea of what I wanted. Thanks for the advice and the service. (Regarding) the price, I got my money's worth and more!!
